June 2024 New Patterns!

Hello Stitchers!

I am so excited to finally share a few new patterns I have been working on! I planned to share these in May, but my kids’ Summer Vacation from school has made me a very busy mom lately. All three of these patterns are available as PDF or paper patterns in my Etsy Shop. They are on sale for 20% off until June 29, 2024. Let’s get right into it!

The first pattern is called Snow Quilt. It is inspired by a quote from Lewis Carroll. It reminds me of snuggling under a warm quilt during the cold Winter. The stitch count is 133w x 163h and it was stitched on 36 count linen by Primitive Gatherings in the color Aspen, using a beautiful jewel toned color palette of DMC floss. I framed this cross stitch in a 8” x 10” traditional wooden frame that I found at a yard sale.

The second pattern is called Midnight Garden. It is inspired by my love for two-toned quilts. I am drawn to the antique feel of just using two colors, and when I found this gorgeous blue linen, I just had to use it! The stitch count is 101w x 101h and it was stitched on 36 count linen by Fiber on a Whim in the color Night Sky. I used Classic Colorworks Belle Soie in the color Icing as my floss, but if you like using DMC, a close color replacement is 3865 Winter White. I framed this design in a glass frame for pressed flowers that I found on Amazon, link here.

The last (and probably my favorite) pattern is called Autumn Star. It is inspired by a LeMoyne Star Quilt Block. I focused on mimicking different types of fabrics with decorative cross stitch patterns. The stitch count is 97w x 97h and it was stitched on 36 count linen by Fiber on a Whim in the color Muted Sedona, using a variety of DMC floss in warm Fall colors. I finished this as a fun throw pillow. Note, if you would like to finish the same way, make sure you start with a much larger piece of linen, keeping in mind how large you would like your pillow to be when finished.

Thank you so much for reading about these new patterns! I hope you love them as much as I do.

Happy Stitching!
